JW 'visited' his 3 older brothers and 2 sisters in Dumbleyung in 1903.

At just "14 years old his father gave him a suit, and ten Pounds ($20) and he left Victoria (Kyneton) and came to WA".

Exciting and productive life continued in Dumbleyung alongside West relatives and cousin/best mate JL Bodkin until WW1. In 1920 JW and his Army mate, ventured to Kondinin.
